Spring Writing Competition

Hey everyone! I’m back with another writing competition for the springtime! The rules are similar to the Christmas Competition I held last year, but with a twist. Your entry must be 750-3,000 words long and be set in a whimsical fairytale-like setting. The stories will be judged by creativity, so don’t worry about the grammar not being perfect! I’ll probably fix any there/their/they’re than/then, etc. mistakes. The last day to enter your stories is April 21st, so get busy! Enter my competition, tell your friends about it, and just have fun!!! The winner will be announced, their story will be featured and credited on my blog, and if they have an account on my forum, they’ll receive a first-place badge! ;) Happy writing everyone—and may the best author win!

After almost an entire year of maintaining a blog, the word “responsibility” has a new meaning. Fourteen-year-old Leah Larkspur spends her time writing, playing with her dog and two cats, thinking about writing, annoying her sisters, forgetting crucial pieces of plot, and correcting her friends’ grammar.
